I had done a Captain Marvel before, but now I finally had a very workable base figure to use this time around and he would look more like he had appeared on JLU. The base is the JLU Hawk figure who's head was almost perfect for Cap. I shortened his chin and put a small cleft in it. His ears came from a STAS Superman and his hair was sculpted on. I also managed to put a bit of a smile on him. His cuffs, shirt flap, button, chest logo, belt and boot cuffs are all sculpted. His modified cape is from a JLU Dr.Fate along with various small parts. I had originally planned to have his cape draped over the left side of his shoulder like in the show, but the person who commissioned this custom wanted it behind him which was cool, less work for me!
