With my favorite custom still being my Golden Age Dr. Mid-Nite You can understand that the expectations were high for this custom. I wanted to make him as good or better than his predecessor. I spent a lot of time on this guy. The base is a Nightman, the head is from a ToyBiz Blackbolt. The shoulder armor, boots, shin guards and goggles are sculpted. The 'moons' on his chest and the buckles underneath are cut styrene. His arm cuffs were created from flat toothpicks (boy, was THAT fun!) and his belt packs and 'loin' pieces are from various plastic parts. 'Hootie' the owl is actually 'Hedwig' from a mini Harry Potter figure, with sculpt work to make him into a horned owl. Doc's cape comes from a 'Warriors of Virtue' figure.
