Owlman took me months to figure out just what exactly was the right way to sculpt that helmet, it looked like it was drawn different in every panel of the JLA Earth 2 story, I even asked the artist, Frank Quitely himself at a con, he even admitted it, soI was pretty much on my own, so I just did it, constantly turning it from every angle to make sure it was just right. It is sculpted onto a wrestler's head (the Edge?) The body base is a 'Fighting American' I kept the belt he came with The next obstacle was THAT cape! I was lucky to find some vinyl that matched the grey paint I was going to use. I have more 'feathers' on him than it was drawn in the book but I think it still works. The top level where it is all connected to is a twist tie, the cape is removable. His 'utility packs' on his wrists and ankles are made from a clay gun (Milliput) The 'Owl' emblem on his chest and belt buckle are sculpted and I etched in the 'Owl' symbol.
